CSO Musicians Gillian Benet Sella and Susan Marshall-Petersen

At the annual Schippers Society Dinner at Riverbend in August 2011, attendees were treated to several special guests, including CSO musicians Gillian Benet Sella, pictured left, and Susan Marshall-Petersen.

Gillian Benet Sella, principal harp, Cynthia & Frank Stewart Chair, shared the experience of representing a named position. "It is an honor to hold this position and I am so grateful to the Stewart family for endowing my chair. An extra special benefit from this entire experience is that I have gotten to know Frank Stewart personally."

Susan Marshall-Petersen, cello, Laura Kimble McLellan Chair, was thrilled when she learned that her friend Laura Kimble McLellan was endowing her cello position. "I am truly grateful to every member of the Schippers Society for the vision that is shared and for your generous gifts to the C.S.O. You are not only helping us bring great music to this city and the world, but you are sustaining it for future generations."
