Emalee Schavel

Emalee Schavel is a longtime subscriber. She has endowed the principal bassoon chair, held by Bill Winstead. Upon choosing her gift to benefit the principal bassoonist, she said, "Before I met Bill, the only thing I knew about the bassoon was how to spell it!" Since that time, she's learned a lot about the bassoon and become good friends with Bill Winstead. During the summer of 2011, she hosted a concert by Bill at the Downtown Cincinnati church she attends.
